FAQ's
Hand Titan is different from itβs competitors not only by addressing the L14 acupressure point on the back of the hand between the thumb and forefinger, but also addresses the six main triggerpoints of the thenar muscle of the palm of the hand. These triggerpoints are formed by using the hands on a daily basis from gripping or holding objects for extended periods of time. The adjustable compression and two sided compression allows for maximum hand relief.
Hand Titan is meant to be used multiple times a day and on a routine basis. Hand Titan can be worn for up to 5 minutes at a time.
Typically relief can be felt after the first use of 5 minutes. Effects can be amplified by rotating the thumb while wearing Hand Titan. The adjustable compression is not meant to feel painful, if it is then lessen the pressure. The pressure may feel uncomfortable at first and should subside with use. Maximum relief and recovery are felt with consistent and daily use of Hand Titan.
Currently, Hand Titan is one universal size, one size fits most. But for the wider and thicker hands an option for a longer bolt can be sent free of charge. There will be future products that are smaller in size for smaller hands.
Hand Titan was designed to be used on both the right and left hand. More pressure will be felt on the hand that is overused more, but the goal is to get both hands feeling equally relaxed.
Yes, having red marks where the nodes were is normal and should dissipate after a few minutes of taking off Hand Titan.
Hand Titan is meant to be used by everybody over the age 13 who use their hands on a daily basis. Including people who use their phones, athletes, gamers, students, computer workers, massage therapists, beauty workers, construction workers, tattoo artists, cooks/chefs, and so many more. Can also benefit people suffering from overuse injuries like carpal tunnel syndrome and headaches and many more.
When using Hand Titan, initially there will be a firm compression that is felt, not painful. After wearing for desired amount of time, the initial tension should feel less or none at all.
The way that you will be able to tell how tense your thumb muscle aka thenar is is by making a pinching motion with your thumb and pointer finger, on a scale from 1-5, 1 being not tense or tender at all and 5 being very tense. Feel the muscle before using Hand Titan and then evaluate the tension after use, it should be less.
